Create your first form
Use this guide when you want to go from a new workspace to a live form as quickly as possible.
Before you start
Have a clear answer to these three questions:
- What are you collecting?
- Who will respond?
- How will you share the form?
Those answers help you choose the right builder type and the easiest way to share the form later.
Steps
- Open the dashboard and create a new form.
- Choose Form, Quiz, or Survey based on your goal.
- Give the form a clear name so teammates can identify it later.
- Add your first fields or questions.
- Review labels, required state, placeholder text, and help text.
- Save your changes.
- Publish the form when you are ready to collect live responses.
- Open the sharing or embed options to choose how people will access it.
Expected result
You should end with a published form that has a live public path and at least one clear way to share it.
Common mistakes
- Publishing before the form text is final.
- Choosing the wrong builder type and then rebuilding later.
- Forgetting to test the live version after publishing.
