Why isn't my embed loading?

If the embed area stays blank or never loads, work through these checks in order.

1. Confirm the form is published

Embeds should point to a live form, not a draft that has not been published yet.

2. Confirm embedding is enabled

Open the embed settings and make sure external embedding is turned on for the form.

3. Check allowed domains

If the form restricts embed origins, make sure the exact site origin is allowed.

Examples:

• https://example.com
• https://www.example.com

These may be treated as different origins.

4. Verify the installation method

Make sure the page uses the correct code for the embed method you selected.

• iframe installs should use the iframe path
• widget installs should use the widget script and matching attributes

5. Test the live page directly

After updating the site, reload the page and test in a clean browser session if possible.

If it still fails

Contact support with:

• the page URL where the embed should load
• the form name
• whether you used iframe or widget embed
• the last change you made before it stopped working
