Embed a form on your site

Fennec Forms supports multiple embed styles so you can place a live form on another website without sending respondents to a separate page.

Choose the right method

  • Use an iframe when you want the simplest installation.
  • Use the widget when you want a more guided embed setup.

Steps

  1. Publish the form first.
  2. Open the embed settings for the form.
  3. Choose the embed method you want to use.
  4. Copy the generated URL or code snippet.
  5. Paste it into your website or page builder.
  6. If you use domain restrictions, make sure the site origin is allowed.
  7. Load the page on the live site and test a full submission.

Expected result

The embedded form should load on the external site and behave like the live form, including submit handling and close-state messaging.

If the embed does not load

Check these first:

  • the form is published
  • embedding is enabled
  • the site origin is allowed
  • the correct embed method was installed
